These critical thinking Christmas task cards have been updated to include a Digital Version to use in Google Slides™. Have fun and teach critical thinking at the same time! These 30 task cards are great to place in a center, and the students love them!
Students must look at the attributes of all four pictures on a card and decide which one does not have an attribute or characteristic that the other three have. These 30 puzzles allow students to develop skills in making inferences, drawing conclusions, recognizing similarities and differences, and comparing and contrasting. All puzzles are available in 2 formats: print and Google Slides™.
The first 16 task cards have only one answer, but the last 14 are more challenging and have 2-3 answers. I like to use the recording sheet, where students have to justify their answers. That way, you know the logic behind their reasoning. Encourage the kiddos to find as many solutions as they can. This is a great activity to do with a small group of kids. They love to discuss the different ways to solve the puzzles.
