Figurative Language PowerPoint Game Show Bundle

Description

This bundle contains three interactive PowerPoint Game Shows to practice, review, and assess figurative language with 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders along with advanced 2nd graders. Featuring adorable sound effects, a self-scoring scoreboard and 30 questions, plus an optional challenge questions, these game shows are great to use for practice, test prep, and review. The three Game Shows are: Idioms, Similes and Metaphors, and Figurative Language. I like to play these games with students in groups and have kiddos use whiteboards to show their answers, but they also work well for centers in your classroom with only 2-4 students.

Want to use these game shows for another subject? No problem! I have included a completely editable version in which you can change all the categories, questions, and answers! You can create your own game show to review ANY SUBJECT!

These game shows play on PowerPoint versions 2007 or later AND Macintosh PowerPoint 2013 and later. This game uses Macros. You will have to enable Macros on your PowerPoint program in order for the automatic scoring to work. I have included instructions on how to enable Macros and how to play the game in a PDF file included in the download.
